The Lodge Hotel is a room only facility therefore there is little interaction between the guests and the staff. Great location only a short walk to the centre of Barrow.
For the money this place has much to offer making it an ideal base for contractors at the shipyard at 12 minutes walk, or those wishing to explore the Furness peninsula on a budget. Rooms are clean bright and plenty of space with private bathroom, kettle and TV. There's a basic kitchen and pool table room which was unexpected. Car parking is just over the road 10 meters away and cost £6 for the day and very secure. Very warm welcome on reception, I also moved my date two times and they were very accommodating considering the inconvenience I caused them. Highly recommended accommodation within Barrow town centre
